Anyone can create a pittsBLOGh.com account and start writing.  We do encourage content about Pittsburgh, but not everything needs to be about this great city!

We are working hard on adding new features, changing the look and feel of the site, as well as adding new content.  Once we get most of the major features and the look and feel all worked out we will take the site out of beta.

Yes!  It is very easy to use this kind of software.  Just use the address http://www.pittsblogh.com/xmlrpc.php when it asks for the URL and use your account information.  You may also need to tell it what kind of blogging system you are using.  If Drupal is available, try that first.  If not, try Movable Type.

Specifically for iBlogger on the iPhone you can use the following steps:

1. Download iBlogger on your iPhone/iPod Touch using the App Store
2. Click on the iBlogger app
3. Select Drupal as the blog system
4. Enter http://www.pittsblogh.com/blog  in the Blog URL field and then click Next
5. Enter your Username and Password
6. In the Access URL field enter http://www.pittsblogh.com/xmlrpc.php
7. Click Add Account
8. Your Done!  Go ahead and start blogging whenever and where ever you feel like!

It is as easy as clicking on the Sign Up link in the Login Menu. Once on the Sign Up page, all you need to do is enter the username you want to use to access the site and have other people find you, your email address, and lastly agree to our terms and conditions.
