A Beautiful Day in the 'Burgh

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day to spend outside in Pittsburgh.  The wife washed and vacuumed both of our cars.  I took down the firewood rack and dismantled it for the summer.  I also trimmed our ornamental grasses since they should start growing soon.  Since my wife is the one with the green thumb she couldn't resist doing a little gardening herself and  made some planter arrangements with some pansies that she acquired.

I was also finally able to really install my Sirius radio in the car.  I had won the radio at work during our holiday party and just had my antenna sitting on my dash and the whole setup looked pretty ghetto.  So I took the time to do the installation properly and everything looks nice and tidy.  I love my sirius radio.

The big news is that I was able to grill again without freezing my butt off.  Getting into our CSA mode we did some grocery shopping this morning and picked up some squash, zucchini, a large sweet onion, and some asparagus.  It was delicious all grilled together with some BBQ Chicken and grilled Tuscan Bread.

It looks like we are supposed to have a nice week and I hope everyone out there can take advantage of it!  Leave a comment or blog about what did this past to enjoy this beautiful day.
